ING Australia's Wholesale Banking team are in growth mode! We are looking for a Sydney based Vice President to support our growing Food, Beverage and Agri ('FBA')footprint. ING FBA's team operate in all the major financial centre's across APAC, meaning you'll not only have strong local Client exposure and AU team relationships, but also gain great working exposure to the wider organisation to further progress your career within Wholesale Banking.

What you'll do

• Act as a key point of contact for Clients, helping develop a deep understanding of their requirements and strategies with the aim of maximising our relationships.

• Manage your own portfolio of Clients and grow walletshare.

• Identify, originate and efficiently execute new to bank transactions.

• Assist ING's market presence and enhance our profile through effective internal and external networks and communications.

• Ensure sound and prudent banking practices in accordance with statutory, regulatory and Group governance requirements.

• Provide support for ad-hoc projects and other activity with the broader ING Australia WB business as needed.

What we're looking for

• Circa 7+ years of corporate banking experience (or other relevant field).

• You could be an experienced Senior Associate or Associate Director looking for your next step

• Experience in structuring, credit &
  deal execution in corporate/investment banking.

• Exposure and knowledge of Agri sector valued.

• Strong financial analysis capability and good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

• Understanding of legal documentation.

• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.

• High level of self- motivation and professionalism with ability to multi-task

• Experience in international banking valued

• Suitable tertiary qualification preferred.
