Undergraduate Environmental Scientist
We are currently seeking a 3rd or penultimate year Undergraduate Environmental Scientist to work across our Environment team covering Ecology, Planning, Contaminated land management and other specialised disciplines. Working closely with our other graduates and senior scientists, this is a great entry level opportunity for final year students to build industry knowledge and networks.
Day to day duties will include but not limited to:
Carrying out research and reviewing documentation under supervision
Contributing to the delivery of projects within time and budget
Liaising with the supervisor and other senior members of staff to build further knowledge and understanding of delivery in a consulting environment;
Assisting in preparation of specifications, proposals and other documents under supervision
Assisting with site surveys, investigations and documentation
Suitable applicants will have/be:
Third or penultimate year Environmental Science student at a Sydney university campus
Good current academic performance
Good organisation and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confident with report writing through years of university study.
