About the opportunity
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our MR Truck Driver, based in our friendly StarTrack Wingfield team, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
Enjoy your weekends away from work?! This full time permanent role works Mon-Fri and the rate is $30.81/hr + 12% super and overtime rates.
You’ll be
Safely loading up to 30kg your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility
Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
Scanning your freight
Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups
About you
You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
You’ll also need to
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Hold a relevant MR license
Be fit enough to load and unload up to 30kg of freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
