T initiatives and services across APAC and IMETA regions to support business strategies, objectives and priorities effectively.

As a key member of the Regional Leadership Team, you'll be reporting to the Global CIO and Regional CEO, primarily located in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role

You'll bring together the full technology capability and dependencies of the company via a matrixed delivery model and drive a level of regional ownership for all technologies impacting the Region as well as have full accountability for overseeing Technology Services deliverables at Regional ELT.

Act as the primary liaison and interface between the regional executive leadership team, including ELT members, all I&
T Programme and Change teams and I&
T Service Delivery.

Proactively contribute to the development of the business by focusing on continuous improvement opportunities, whether through delivery and use of I&
T enabled capabilities or the secure use of our systems and data.

Building an intimate understanding of the Regions' geographically dispersed businesses, driving global standardization in solutions at an organizational level wherever possible to provide maximum return on investment aligned to the overarching I&
T strategy. Where there is an agreed divergence from the global standard, you'll ensure full transparency, security, performance, support, and business continuity for regionalised technology choice.

Act as an advocate for the regional customer in development of, and approval for, the prioritised portfolio of I&
T needs, At the same time promoting understanding and alignment to I&
T goals and objectives at a global level.

The true value comes in being able to influence at the appropriate leadership levels on both sides, bringing together a strong partnership between the Business and I&
T. Focused on meeting the current, future, expressed and unexpressed demands of the function they support and the business, while maximising returns on I&
T investment.

What will ensure your success

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar, related field
  • Masters Degree is preferable
  • Experience working across regions on large-scale initiatives, bringing different stakeholder groups together to deliver value
  • Experience in diverse multi-cultural, matrixed corporate environments
  • Significant previous experience within an I&
    T and/or Business Relationship role
  • Experience managing or influencing technical staff and projects at an executive level
  • Experience working within a bi-modal delivery environment (i.E. both waterfall and agile methodologies).
  • Proven success in improving the customer experience
  • Using information technology in a strategic context to further strategic goals
