Technical Project Manager/ Scrum Lead

Australia, Sydney based role - x2 year initial contract - Relocation package available - This role is tied to Northern Ireland and we are actively looking to relocate people to Australia

Synechron is looking for an experienced Scrum Lead/ Project Managerto join a global financial institution on a long term, global securityproject.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices, principles, theory and guidelinesto deliver high quality products and services

• Build high performing teams by recognising areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques

• Coach the Scrum team in self-organisation, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicate effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team

• Work with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organisational project or product teams

• Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organisation

• Work with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role and demonstrate Servant leadership skills

• Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organisation

• Facilitate and support all scrum events:
  Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective

• Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience working as a Scrum Master or Project Manager
• Strong 7-13 years of experience in Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience working in Security projects.
• Knowledge of one or more industry standard Agile PM tools - Jira or Azure Devops/Trello/Smartsheet confluence
• Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.E. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Good to have:

• CSM/ SAFe Agilist / SAFe Scrum Master / PMI-ACP /PSM/ A-CSM
  
• Experience working with Agile Transformation Project
• Understanding of waterfall methodologies
• JIRA administration and configuration knowledge
• Agile Coaching experience
• Business analysis skill
• Able to perform an Agile maturity assessmen

Certification:

CSM/ SAFe Agilist / SAFe Scrum Master / PMI-ACP /PSM/ A-CSM
