The role

You will join a passionate team within the centralised Digital Experience team, responsible for building and operating platforms and services designed to make our Technology teams lives easier.

The position is responsible for leading the definition and delivery of technical products managed by the Pathway Engineering teams. These products take our delivery teams through the development lifecycle, getting teams started using our source code system, CI/CD tooling and design systems through to operational capabilities using our managed runtime environments, observability platforms and other key infrastructure.

What you will do

- Collaborate broadly across the Technology organisation to understand the customer journey, gather and prioritise customer requirements

- Evolve the Pathway Engineering product portfolio and vision, ensuring the continued delivery of value to our customers

- Rally the Pathway Engineering delivery teams around the common product vision, providing the context and meaning for their work while assisting with prioritisation as needed

- Serve as the internal evangelist for the respective products/product portfolio, communicating the Pathway Engineering capabilities to the wider Technology community

- Believe in the "
Platform as a product"
approach, ensuring thatour products are compelling, reliable and fit for purpose

- Drive adoption of the Pathway Engineering services, ensuring clarity of the measures for success on the products and initiatives you manage.

What skills you will need

- Demonstrated capability leading a sophisticated product roadmap that balances short-term opportunities with longer-term strategic activities

- Ability to process and translate customer needs into technical scope and work closely with our development teams.

- Lean on your experience in working with Development teams in an agile delivery environment to drive phenomenal customer outcomes

- Good understanding of modern software engineering practices and associated technologies.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment

- Experience with demonstrating and explaining complex products to others, to ensure they understand key features and benefits

- Experience guiding internal go-to-market activities

- Demonstrable ability to multi-task, establish priorities and self-motivate

- You love what you do and your passion is shown in your delivery.

It will be a bonus to have experience in:

- working with public cloud providers (AWS preferred), CI/CD technologies and deployment systems

- Hands on engineering experience
