Your career in detail
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Approvals Lead with significant experience in renewable energy and transport to work in our Perth Office with State-based, National, and Global virtual teams to win and deliver major multi-disciplinary programs and projects within Western Australia. You'll be working on significant projects that shape the communities in which we live. Building connections across our networks of international experts, you will bring this knowledge to our clients and to their projects.

About You
You bring an extensive career span working on major infrastructure projects in Western Australia throughout concept, design &
construction with proven project management skills, and tertiary qualifications relevant to environmental management, engineering, sustainability, planning, science, or related field. Your other specialist skills and experience include:

  • Experience in leading, preparing and navigating environmental approvals and processes, including engagement with a wide range of stakeholders within Western Australia.
  • Have excellent client relationships and experience in converting relationships and opportunities into projects.
  • Experience in transport projects (road and rail) and energy projects such as renewables, transmission and distribution, and/or hydrogen desirable
  • Experience in emerging sustainability areas such as regenerative design, circular economy, climate change adaptation and resilience is an advantage.
  • Experience in mine closure, rehabilitation or reuse is an advantage
  • Experience in project management of multi-disciplinary assessment teams and sub-consultants.

Your role will see you win work across technical and commercial aspects of our Energy, Defence, Transport, Water and other areas of our business. This will be key in developing our capability across our Environment and Society Portfolio with specialist skills such as EIA, planning and approvals, strategic assessments and potentially climate resilience, circular economy, nature based solutions, regenerative outcomes and more.
