Reporting to the Program Director, you will be responsible for leading the technical planning, design, and development of highly complex cyber security solutions and infrastructure for the Cyber Security Program. This role will focus on the Identity and Access Management projects within the Program.

Key Duties will include:

  • Oversee and lead the design and implementation of technical cyber security solutions, ensuring alignment with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.
  • Specifies and designs large or complex systems and selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures, and ensures effective application.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of state-wide Cyber Security strategy and drive security maturity.
  • Support Program by providing cost estimates, technical architecture, solution design and testing.

Are you right for this role?

To be successful in this role, you will have practical experience, including exposure to industry best practice frameworks for large scale and complex delivery of Cyber Security Infrastructure and Solutions. You will have experience and knowledge in architecting, designing, and building enterprise security systems with experience in most of following:

  • Workforce Identity and Access Management solutions (preferably knowledge of NetIQ Identity and Access Management)
  • Testing Frameworks and Reporting Tools such as Splunk
  • Essential Eight and Critical Infrastructure Bill
  • Windows and Unix Server Management
