Are you a creative digital designer, advisor and strategic problem solver with strong team leadership experience? Our Digital and Information Services Branch want you!

The Team Leader Enterprise Architecture is to lead the team to achieve team goals, and service delivery outcomes in planning the investment in technology for Sunshine Coast Council. As a requirement of the role, you will:

  • Develop and manage the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Practice
    • Design and develop the EA practice and methodology
    • Manage all elements of the EA service, including financial, service planning, delivery to customers, financial, policy and risk
    • Promote the business value of EA as an enabler of planning and strategy formulation
    • Proactively engage with industry reference bodies (e.G., QGEA) and other Councils to explore opportunities to align the Enterprise Architecture practice with industry best practices.
  • Formulate Strategy and guide execution
    • Work with the Digital Transformation Manager, business and leadership stakeholders to develop strategy and planning for investment in technology and digital across the organisation
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and disruption, ensuring the EA team incorporates this into investment planning scenarios.

As a professional in the field, you will possess a strong understanding of digital, emerging technology and its application to business. .

Utilising your strong interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to advocate and consult with stakeholders, often with competing interests. As a consultative leader, you will inspire stakeholders to be receptive to digital innovation, while managing competing priorities and deadlines of the team.

Your exceptional skills in digital design and strategic thinking, are pivotal to this position.
