Based in Sydney, we have an opportunity for an individual to join our team as a Tax Manager. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer this role will have you working closely with the Head of Tax and remotely manage a team in India to ensure tax compliance is met throughout the pacific zone.

Specific responsibilities will include :

  • Manage the tax compliance life cycle for the Pacific Zone
  • Provide guidance and tax advice to the business
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and reporting timetables
  • Responsible for preparation of tax effect accounting reporting
  • Preparation of transfer pricing compliance and reporting obligations including documentation
  • Ensure compliance with governance policies and procedures
  • Manage continuance process improvements

About You

You are highly driven and confident professional who wants to work for a value-based organisation whose solutions are leading edge. You are focused, collaborative and passionate about the work that you do.

In addition, you possess the following relevant skills:

  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Demonstrated success managing offshore shared services teams
  • 10+ years experience working in Australian and New Zealand tax compliance covering Income Tax, GST, FBT, payroll taxes and Accounting for Income Taxes in both chartered and corporate settings, including working with consolidated tax groups
  • Ability to identify and interpret tax law in a complex business environment
  • CCH Global Integrator/ Tax Integrator experience
  • Mastery of systems, analytical tools and data management
