Systems Engineering Lead

Overview
We are currently recruiting a Systems Engineering Lead for a renowned engineering consultancy which specialises in transport infrastructure, built environment, and water infrastructure.
Primary duties will cover Systems Engineering, Requirements, V&
V, however a solid understanding of safety assurance will be advantageous.
Location- Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne
Duration- Permanent
Responsibilities

• Effectively manage SESA contractors within the portfolio of rail projects, primarily in NSW and VIC - this will include the review of contractor deliverables.
• Engage with the customer to understand user needs and constraints, applying your knowledge to deliver effective project execution by developing Systems Engineering solutions
• Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are managed and communicated across the program

• Requirements Management deliverables using DOORS
• Deliverables including but not limited to:
  
  • Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
  • Verification &
    Validation (V&
    V)
  • Interface Requirements Specification (IRS)
  • Requirements Management Plan (RMP)
  • System Requirements Specification (SRS)

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering
• 10+ years in a similar role
• Considerable experience within the rail sector
• An understanding of ISO 15288 andEN 50126/8/9
• Familiarity with IBM DOORS (Classic / NG)
• Full Australian working rights - Permanent Resident or Citizen
