About the role
Reporting to the Corporate Planning and Performance Lead, the Strategy Partner (Corporate Analyst), will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of integrated strategy development. This role is instrumental in driving and embedding strategic alignment across the organisation and moulding strategic direction in alignment with statutory regulations.

Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Executive Directors and Senior Leadership Team members, to foster collaborative and effective engagement.
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration and promoting effective ways of working to ensure a mutual understanding of the importance of performance reporting across the organisation.
  • Partnering with the organisation during the Annual Business Planning Cycle, ensuring alignment and accountability through the Accountability Framework.
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to continuously improve the business planning process and embedding it into the organisation's operations.
  • Coordinating strategic discussions and planning activities with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Assisting in the development of annual strategic priorities, KPIs, and standards of performance for assigned directorates.
  • Leading the operational tracking of performance KPIs and reporting, providing strategic guidance and ensuring quality and timely delivery of organisation performance reporting.
  • Facilitating monthly content collation for the City's performance forum (Business Review Meeting), focusing on quality control and continuous improvement.
  • Engaging in discussions with senior leaders regarding the development, refinement, and review of organisational performance indicators.
  • Supporting the development of strategy briefing templates under the guidance of the Strategy Lead.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience in strategic planning and performance reporting within a municipal or government context is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Integrated Planning and Reporting Software systems is an advantage.
