About the Organisation
Our client is a privately-owned family operated business with sites at Hope Island and Surfers Paradise which are situated within the growth corridor of south-east Queensland and located on the beautiful Gold Coast.
They offer comprehensive medical imaging services which include X-ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, BMD, Ultrasound, Mammography, Cardiac Imaging and Interventional procedures.
About the Role
My client are seeking a fully qualified and accredited sonographer with at least 5 years' post graduate experience in the field, who can work autonomously to join our dynamic team.
The sonographer will participate in the general clinical workload, with an emphasis on obstetric and gynaecologic workload.
This is a full-time position being 38 hours per week and will involve working at their Surfers Paradise and Hope Island practices.
Their Hope Island rooms are open from 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and their Surfers Paradise rooms open between 8.00am and 5.00pm, so there is scope to provide flexible working hours.
The Sonographer will be working with Siemens Acuson Redwood and GE Voluson machines.
A 2 week Casual role can be provided to ensure a suitable 'fit' for both parties
About You
5 years Sonography experience
Strong Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience
Breast sonography experience - highly desirable
Experience with General, MSK, Vascular and small parts sonography
Interventional experience
Focus on patient care
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Empathetic and caring manner
Commitment to working as part of a team
Driving Licence
