As the Solution Architect, you will lead the development of high-quality solutions, meticulously balancing functionality, service quality, and security to meet the needs of the South Australian community. Your role encompasses proactive management of target designs, policies, and standards for complex digital solutions, ensuring a stable and adaptable architecture across various dimensions.

With a steadfast commitment to adhering to industry standards and best practices, you'll drive the delivery of digital solutions that not only meet but exceed business objectives. Your exceptional leadership and strategic acumen will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and anticipating future organisational needs, risks, and constraints. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting robust security architectures and integrating cutting-edge technologies to ensure comprehensive protection and resilience across all systems and applications.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you will work closely with product, web development, cyber security and dev ops teams to provide technical solutions that align with our architectural strategies and software integrity principles.

As a Solution Architect, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working under broad policy guidelines and managing multiple priorities with tight time frames. Your ability to exercise original thinking, independent judgment, and effective communication methods will be essential in resolving technically complex problems.

Special Conditions

• The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
• The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
• Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
• May be required to work within other areas of DPC Major Programs.
• Working within a confidential, commercially orientated and at times, politically sensitive environment.
  
• This role requires a National Criminal History check.
• This role requires a Security Clearance to be obtained during employment.
