Milestone IT is partnering with a leading company to find a talented and experienced Solution Architect to join their innovative team. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their IT landscape by designing and implementing scalable microservices architectures, with a strong focus on utilizing Apigee for robust API management.

About the Role:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective microservices architectures.
• Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable microservices solutions utilizing best practices.
• Champion the use of Apigee as the primary platform for API management, ensuring efficient and secure access to internal and external APIs.
• Define API design principles, governance models, and strategies to ensure consistent and reliable API consumption.
• Integrate microservices with existing systems and infrastructure using APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of the microservices environment.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in microservices architecture, API management, and cloud platforms.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a strong understanding of microservices principles, design patterns, and containerization technologies (e.G., Docker, Kubernetes).
• In-depth knowledge of API management concepts and extensive experience with Apigee platform configuration, policies, and security.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a strong understanding of API integration best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
• A problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
