What you'll deliver with us

This role serves as the Solution Architect of customer experience within Enterprise Services. This role will be working closely with the Program Architect, the Principal Architect, wider Architecture and Engineering, and the Customer Experience Transformation Program Manager, with whom the day to day program architecture and planning deliverables are managed.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the architecture and roadmap of the customer experience domain for the program, by playing a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape to design and deliver seamless, personalised and

engaging experiences for our customers. You are the forefront of driving the design and implementation of cutting-edge web &
mobile application architectures to support our omni-channel customer experience strategy.

You will leverage your expertise in cloud, APIs and modern web technologies to architect innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction with respect to the delivery and ongoing operational efficiency.

You'll also

  • Create accurate and relevant program architecture(s) for Customer Experience Transformation. These will describe the future state architecture for the business and the transitional states on how to achieve that future state.
  • Ensure that the customer experience architecture is aligned with broader enterprise-wide strategy and architecture to ensure high levels of cohesion, consistency and reuse across the enterprise.
  • Advocate and drive a focus on customer needs and improving the customer experience.
  • Apply a commercial focus on all work to ensure that the desired business outcomes are met;
    this will often requireyou to work with commercially sensitive information and data.
  • Communicate with both external (e.G. solution vendors, customers) and internal (e.G. business GMs and Heads of) parties to create architecture solutions that are aligned with our transformation intent.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with program and Enterprise Services stakeholders. This includes providing thought leadership to our businesses to help shape and influence their strategies.
  • Maintain awareness of current Information Security standards and ensure all activities comply with the enterprise standards.

You'll need

  • Experience as a senior architect in an ASX200 listed organisation or global equivalent.
  • Experience within an IT transformation project or large IT modernisation programme.
  • Confident to lead work within a transformation programme, understanding and balancing business and technology requirements.
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills in front of executive audiences, preparing and presenting technical subject matter.
  • Background working in customer experience, B2C, B2B, Digital, and Supply Chain space as an Architect.
  • Proven experience delivering complex architectures in complex technology landscapes for major projects to successful outcomes.
  • Having 20 years IT industry experience including 10+ years in web application architecture design with deep understanding of micro-services and micro-frontend architecture.
  • Strong experience of Salesforce Experience Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager, along with web technologies and standards incl. HTML, JS, CSS, APIs, Web components, React.Js etc.
  • Strong experience in web security such as OWASP, APIs security and access control.
  • Strong capability in problem solving in complex environments.
  • Demonstrate ownership of end-to-end architecture for the customer experience domain.
