A bit about the role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong focus on all aspects of IT Architecture including, integration and security to ensure City of Casey's application stack is highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant.

The Solution Architect will design and deliver cohesive, high-fidelity solutions aligned with our IT and Transformation roadmap. You will lead the development and operation of robust IT solution architecture practices, ensuring strong governance throughout the systems development lifecycle.

What you'll deliver

• Drive the use and consideration of Casey's IT architecture principles in the evaluation of changes across the full spectrum of Casey's IT environment.
• Analyse and establish enterprise application solutions requirements for full suite of Microsoft applications (O365, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, PowerAps etc.) and TechnologyOne suite of applications/products (CRM, ECM, CES, P&
  R), Business Process Automation, Robotic Process Automation.
• Design, develop and present IT application, integration (and sometimes infrastructure) solution options for specific business problems, making recommendations to various audiences, including C-suite.
• Provide technical expertise and experience as a part of developing and evaluating solution options aligning them with target state architecture.
• Create solution prototypes and execute proof of concepts to validate and evaluate considerations for scaling of solutions.
• Participate in and play a guiding role in IT product and services selection.

What you'll bring

• Degree qualified in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in IT architecture and design, preferably as a Solutions Architect or Solution Designer.
• Digital application build experience in both front and backend in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of interoperability and integration patterns (APIs, Web Sockets, XML, ETLs, etc) for digital platforms and ERPs.
• Experience with large scale ERPs and enterprise level systems, applications and projects.
• Strong ability to analyse and break down complex problems and present them in an understandable way that matches the respective audience.
• Extensive design &
  integration skillset, prompting creative solutions driven by an empathetic understanding of key business challenges.
• Proven experience in maintaining and developing relationships across multidisciplinary teams within the business.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
