Logan Beaudesert Health Service are looking for Service Line Director for Women's and Children's to join their team. The Women's and Children's Service Line is expanding to meet the needs of our community. The Service Line provides a range of clinical services in community-based maternity hubs, specialist outpatient departments, birthing and operating suites, in-patient maternity, surgical, paediatric and special care units and in the home. Services include Maternity, Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Neonatal Special Care.The Maternity Service is growing rapidly and will provide care for over 4000 women and babies in the coming year. The Maternity and Neonatal Units are being refurbished and expanded and planning for the new Logan Urgent and Specialist Care Centre, which includes ambulatory care for women and children is well under way.

About the Role

  • Provide single point accountability executive leadership for the Women's and Children's Service Line, Logan Hospital. The role also collaborates in the provision relevant services at the Beaudesert Hospital.
  • The role is specifically responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality, timely and affordable clinical services through effective leadership, management, and clinical governance.
  • The role works in partnership with members of the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service (LBHS) Executive and provides strategic advice to the Executive Director, LBHS and relevant Metro South Health (MSH) committees, Clinical Streams, and forums.
