The Opportunity:

First Page requires an experienced SEO Director who has exceptional leadership skills and is passionate about creating and leading a team of talented SEO Specialists. You'll be joining a specialised SEO agency that currently employs some of the best SEO minds globally. The collaboration and knowledge sharing between our talented team members are exceptional.

What you'll be doing:

• In charge of leading a team of SEO &
  link building specialists by overseeing all onsite &
  offsite optimisation for clients &
  company owned websites.
• Implementing process and structure to ensure the team runs efficiently.
• To ensure we exceed all client KPI guarantees
• To ensure every client receives exceptional SEO &
  link building work.
• To ensure all team members have KPI's &
  SLA's so everyone is aligned with expectations.
• Build strong relationships between the SEO department and other divisions within First Page.
• Run weekly training sessions to ensure all SEO team members are continually upskilled.
• Maintain a P&
  L within your department.
• Provide weekly reporting to the management team.
• Identify areas of improvement and roll out our strategies in a timely matter.
• Get in the trenches with your team. No matter the site of the client, drive execution of SEO strategies.
• Responsible for leading and mentoring the SEO team to drive business goals
• Developing detailed project plan and monitoring progress while delivering projects on time ensuring quality standards
• Brainstorm new and creative SEO growth strategies
• Act as subject matter expert for team members, peers, and clients
• Take the primary responsibility for all the Technical Audits &
  ensuring that the client website is following all the SEO best practices
• In-depth SEO technical knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS) also Google Analytics, webmaster tools, back-end SEO, and various online tools
• Assign all work assignments, commit the team to the work, manage the quality of the work and drive the people management activities within the team
• Measure the effectiveness of strategy (rankings, traffic, conversions) and make decisions based on data
• Recruiting top talent and able to recognise skill gaps and hire the right team members.
• Supporting sales efforts with data, strategy, and in-person meetings

What we need:

• Someone who values quality;
  you care about craftsmanship and take pride in their work.
• Extensive SEO experience with Google.
• Coding skills and experience on CMS eg. WordPress, Shopify, and Magento
• A passion for learning and enhancing your existing skills.
• Experience managing a team of SEO Specialists
• Speed and able to hit deadlines that you set for yourself.
