The purpose of this role is to provide efficient customer solutions that exceed customer expectations while meeting internal product and delivery needs. You will be exceptional at partnering with both internal and external stakeholders and have a passion for sales and customer service!

Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities are attributable to the above position. However, other duties may be required from time to time as directed by your manager.

  • Provide pre sales solution support to the Government Sales teams to achieve quarterly acquisition and retention targets.
  • Customer engagement - In partnership with the sales teams engage with customers at the technical and management levels. Establish a trusted advisor relationship with key customers and their technical staff, advise on service upgrades and enhancements.
  • Manage the development of solutions from simple orders through to large scale complex network and infrastructure tenders. Producing quality solution documentation. Lead teams of internal and external staff in solution activity.
  • Work management and efficiency - manage multiple opportunities providing efficient solutions appropriate to the scale and complexity of the requirement.
  • Develop and maintain an expert level knowledge of technology solutions, customer requirements, company tools, systems and products.

Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or similar level of Education) in Telecommunications / Computer Science / IT
  • Strong communications skills and an ability to explain technology in a non-technical manner.
  • Good technical understanding of IP networking, Internet, Dark Fibre technology, Ethernet connectivity, MPLS, SIP, IaaS, SD WAN.
  • Working knowledge of VoIP and Unified Communications solutions, with experience in Teams highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of security solutions, firewalls, network encryption.
  • Knowledge of security standards, government security needs (PSPF, ISM), industry trends, competitor products and services.
