Position Overview:
As a Ruby on Rails Developer you will work alongside a highly experienced team of Rails developers to develop critical features, implement enhancements, and contribute to the overall success of our product. Your role will be pivotal in driving the evolution of our platform to continually delight our customers. They are looking for someone who has a strong interest to progress into a lead engineer role or has been a lead in the past.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with their team of experienced Rails developers to develop critical features and enhancements.
- Manage and maintain various API integrations, adapting to versioning changes and evolving needs.
- Improve and streamline development processes to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies when necessary to complete tasks.
- Provide technical support as needed and assist in issue resolution.
- Maintain high-quality code while delivering value to customers.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, creativity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Possess strong written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tailwind, Hotwire, Stimulus, and Turbo for UI development.
- Strong AWS experience
- Familiarity with queue processing architectures.
- Worked with tools such as K8's and Terraform.
- Experience working effectively in a distributed, remote teams.
