The Role:
Senior Process Engineers
Our Clients Mining team is dedicated to assisting their clients in optimizing performance, enhancing profitability, and fostering responsible operations. Possessing a comprehensive understanding of the mining industry, they address current challenges, including decarbonization, and recognize the critical importance of future-ready strategies in mitigating these issues, seizing opportunities, and adding substantial value to businesses.

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within an established mechanical-discipline engineering team to deliver a diverse range of mine process and non-process infrastructure projects.
• Engage in engineering design at every project stage for clients across various sectors.
• Conduct equipment sizing and selection.
• Assist in scope and budget development in response to clients' needs.
• Support the team by providing technical expertise and experience in designing coal handling and process plant, along with associated mining infrastructure

Skills we are looking for:

• Possess a recognized relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical/Process).
• Demonstrate proven engineering design experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Have experience in coal or minerals processing.
• Experience in materials handling and/or hydraulic design (pumps and pipes) is highly desirable but not essential.
• Technical proficiency in flow assurance modeling, dispersion modeling, process control design, hazardous area design, piping stress analysis, and pipeline engineering is highly regarded.
• Exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication abilities

- Flexibility:
You'll have the option to work in-office for two days each week.
- Above-market salary and contract rates
- Location:
Newcastle, Sydney or Brisbane.
- Option of Permanent work or 12-24 Month Contract with Potential for Extension
