About the Role

As the Senior Process Engineer, you will support the process discipline interface with

Onshore Operations. The role will focus on operations, production engineering, project and

technical authority support while providing hands on assistance with Onshore Asset design

review of Brownfield Projects.

Key project:
Support the Moomba CCS project startup and Santos transition to net-zero Scope 1 &
2 emissions by 2040

Key responsibilities will include:

• Operations &
  Production Engineering Support
• Assist in the troubleshooting of operational problems
• Assist in optimisation to increase production, reduce emissions or reduce cost
• Conduct process investigations into process problems, risks or opportunities
• Investigate, engineer and expedite modifications or operational changes that are justified by operational, safety, environmental or commercial considerations in accordance with Santos standards and good oil/gas field practice
• Provide technical advice and mentorship to developing engineers within Frontline Production Engineering

Project Support

• Assist in the definition of studies and project design bases
• Respond to Contractor's process engineering technical queries
• Ensuring process engineering deliverables comply with the project design and operation philosophies established in the design basis and/or performance specifications
• Participation in Hazard studies and risk assessments as required

Process Technical Authority support

• Management of Change (MOC)
• Integrated Risk Register (IRR)
• Document Reviews

General

• Pro-actively contribute to Santos' continuous improvement processes
• Develop and maintain the necessary professional skills required for the position.
• Other duties as required at the direction of the Team Leader - Onshore Process Engineering

About You

You will have demonstrated experience in the oil and gas industry working within multi-disciplinary teams. You will be a Chartered Engineer with RPEQ and have the ability to both build and maintain relationships across all stakeholder levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering Chemical or equivalent.

Preferred

• 10+ years oil &
  gas industry experience
• Operating company experience
• Onshore conventional and CSG experience
