About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Process Analyst to join our Medical Indemnity Business Change and Operations team.
As an APRA-regulated organisation, we are committed to enhancing our process maturity to strengthen our processes and controls, improve member experience, and increase business resilience. The Senior Process Analyst will lead this important work.
What you'll be doing:
- Facilitate workshops with various business units to gain a thorough understanding of their critical processes, focusing on the associated risks, controls, systems, and suppliers.
- Identify process performance measures, as well as define process ownership and responsibilities.
- Establish links between processes and key data elements such as risks and controls, incidents, and systems, you will collaborate with a data analyst to present this information visually. This will allow you to pinpoint process gaps and identify areas for improvement.
- Leverage your expertise in process levelling and hierarchy to group similar processes to uncover opportunities for simplification and standardisation.
- Utilise your knowledge of business process modelling and governance to develop and implement a framework for maintaining organisational process knowledge.
What skills and experience you'll need:
- Proven experience in process analysis, business process improvement, preferably in a complex environment such as insurance or financial services.
- Proficiency in process modelling, documentation tools and Process Levelling using a Process Hierarchy (e.G. BPMN, Visio, Signavio. APQC).
- Knowledge of using and applying Process maturity frameworks (desired)
- Knowledge of Risk management in financial industry including Regulatory environment particularly Prudential Standard CPS 230 would be an advantage.
