The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Planning Consultant to join our team in the Gold Coast! In this role you will work with the best in the business and have the flexibility to work part-time or full-time.

Using your technical expertise and proven skills, you will actively support our clients by demonstrating a sound understanding of statutory and strategic urban planning to provide relevant advice and insights.

In this role you will be expected to bring leadership, credibility, and professionalism to build and maintain new and existing relationships with clients.

You will:

  • Provide a diverse range of services including land use advice, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, and approval process management.
  • Developing client relationships through cultivating trust, providing quality advice and managing expectations
  • Write accurate submissions, proposals and advice aligned with client's needs
  • Manage small to medium size projects, including scoping and costing of projects, tracking job costs and coordinating consultants and sub-consultants, when necessary.
  • Coach and develop team members as needed

About You:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Urban Planning
  • Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or related discipline
  • Strong and confident communicator
  • Passionate about producing insightful and high-quality advice
