Do work that matters
Be a senior engineer in the Pega Chapter of Business Banking in providing technical expertise to meet the needs of Case Management projects, offering individual expertise (design/ built/ test/ run) and technical leadership.
You're responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank.

You'll be joining our Business Banking's Automated Credit and Bank Guarantee (AC &
BG )team who are responsible for driving the Pega implementation and defining technology roadmap for various product origination workflows. AC &
BG team are the champions of BIAN implementation of Customer Offer orchestrator - working to build reusable and extendable application that will allow onboarding of new lending products like Corporate Credit Cards, Overdraft, Better Business Loan in addition to Bank Guarantees
More Specifically You Will

• Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including product owners and delivery teams
• Champion thought leadership for the process architecture and develop options for improving and updating current capability.
• Act as an escalation, advice, and decision-making point for Pega Case Management.
• Contribute effectively towards ongoing sprints through development of new workflows and integrations.
• Review and contribute to all reference architecture and business processes.
• Monitor emerging technologies, industry developments, directions, and best practices.
• Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding
• Provide specialized expertise and development using Java, JEE and Pega Platform
• Analysing systems to provide system support and recommendations for development.
• Operator with a DevSecOps mindset, thereby owning development, unit testing and deployment of code.
• Expert troubleshooting of implementation, environment and deployment issues.

Tech skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

• Strong experience in building, designing, and developing Pega workflow, integrations and services.
• Experience in designing and developing reusable components within Pega.
• Experience with process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, and Iterative) strongly preferred.
• Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills.
• Experience designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management)
• Experience in various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence,
• SingleSignOn, OAuth2.0, External Authentication, REST Connectors and Services etc
• Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) (Mandatory)
• Certified Lead System Architect (Nice to have).
