Senior Operations Manager, Clinical Trials

This is a newly created position to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the clinical trial operation and in developing and implementing effective, functional plans for resource allocation, professional development and operational excellence.

As the Senior Operations Manager - Clinical Trials, you are second in charge of providing strong, consistent leadership support, setting strategic direction for clinical trials operations - pivotal in optimizing patient, investigator, and sponsor experiences through strong relationship-building, process improvements and driving a culture that prioritizes a patient-centric approach and facilitates diverse participation.

You will be providing people management/oversight to a team of 4 managers with expertise across Laboratory, Clinical Data and Trial management. You will be providing coaching, and mentorship for team development and performance whilst ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, data quality in trial conduct and effective resource allocation to ensure capabilities support seamless trial execution.

About You:

• You will have extensive experience in clinical trial operations and line management experience, including site experience
• You are a strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop clinical trial teams to achieve high performance.
• You have a track record of delivering operational excellence, ensuring best practices, and fostering a continuous improvement culture.
• Your exceptional communication skills and ability to build effective collaborations with internal and external stakeholders.
• You thrive in a growth-oriented, fast-paced environment and are adept at delivering strategic and operational plans.

This is an office-based position, located in Macquarie Park. The salary package includes 17 % superannuation, a flexible working arrangement of 35 hours work week/ 9 days per fortnight and discounted parking on site.
