The Senior Organisational Development Partner will manage the NSW Ministry of Health workplace culture improvement program and develop, implement and evaluate organisational development and cultural change strategies to improve organisational culture.

Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $120,859 - $133,183 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

  • Strategic Planning and Implementation:
    Collaborating with stakeholders and customers to develop and execute organisational development strategies that align with business goals, focusing on areas such as change management, culture transformation, leadership and capability development. Participating regularly in OD planning sessions to phase initiatives and ensure logistics, communication and delivery are planned appropriately and will occur on-time and within budget.
  • Consultation and Advisory:
    Acting as a consultant and advisor to managers and other leaders across the organisation, providing expertise on culture change, team dynamics, and leadership development to enhance overall effectiveness. This may include being the OD representative in project teams delivering one-off, or repeated initiatives such as the annual PMES survey or bespoke initiatives to meet specific branch goals. It may also include partnering with P&
    C Business Partners in customer interactions.
  • Supporting Capability Development Initiatives:
    Leading and supporting various initiatives, ensuring alignment to the People and Culture plan and the Future Health Strategy. This includes 'front of room' facilitation of orientation, leadership development and capability development programs. The role also involves sourcing, inducting, managing and supporting external training vendors to deliver capability development programs for Ministry employees. This requires an understanding of the Vendor Management System and NSW Health Procurement Policy.
  • Identifying Improvement Opportunities:
    Collaborating with team members (and sometimes other stakeholders) to identify inefficiencies and areas for process improvement, using data analysis, employee feedback, and PMES data as well as data gathered from OD initiatives. Developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to streamline processes, reduce wasted time and improve program offering and enhance customer experience.
  • Monitoring and Measuring Impact:
    Establishing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of process improvement efforts, regularly reviewing outcomes, and making necessary adjustments to achieve continuous improvement. This includes qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and reporting.
