The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Administrator to join the KBR team. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Cisco network and Palo Alto security infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency and reliability

  • Participate in IT network infrastructure project design, reviews, and ensure network architecture goals and requirements are met and aligned with business objectives

  • Develop network and security documentation, including diagrams and work instructions, test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects

Who are you?

Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this position

To be successful in this position you require Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field along with Minimum of 10 years of experience in network administration

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certifications in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)

  • Strong expertise with Cisco Routing, Switching and Palo Alto firewalls

  • Being able to configure equipment, and troubleshoot complex environments is a must including routing and switching, L2 &
    L3 Protocols

  • Experience with SD-WAN and network virtualization technologies

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints

  • Adaptability to learn new technologies and industry trends.

  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well- organi s ed

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
