Job Description

• Assist the project team on the designs and plant equipment selections for all stages of project works
• Preparation of data sheets for mechanical equipment
• Ensuring design solutions comply with local and national codes and standards
• Prepare and manage material take-offs and requisition packages, technical evaluations, and vendor document reviews and approvals
• Provide direction for a variety of equipment types including piping and material handing equipment
• Carry out site inspections within Australia when required

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical
• Minimum 10 years of previous experience working within an engineering consultant and/or design engineering environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software and exposure to mechanical design software for Heavy Industry projects
• Site experience, advantageous
