We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Melbourne team, reporting to the Section Manager. We seek a highly motivated, senior engineer to lead our mechanical design solutions and project teams for timely project delivery.

Who we're looking for.

  • Experience and technical ability to manage resources, financial performance, and delivery of multi-discipline projects as a project coordinator.
  • Complete engineering analysis and design of HVAC systems as well as liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Apply the latest technologies to our ever-expanding workload of building services.
  • to verify design work completed by others and provide mentoring, coaching, and training to less experienced engineers and project coordinators.
  • Strong technical background that you want to continue to build on with experience across different market sectors including health, tertiary education, and the like.
  • As a confident communicator who is articulate and confident in developing new and existing relationships, you will be working with like-minded individuals who are flexible in their approach to challenges, motivated, and share the ability to think laterally in delivering smart technical solutions to our clients.

Your Capabilities

  • Established experience in building services &
    consultancy.
  • Competent and passionate engineer who enjoys solving problems with other stakeholders.
  • Good level of appreciation and understanding of building services outside of your core expertise
  • Have an understanding of relevant calculation packages such as Camel and preferably able to use Revit modelling software.
  • RPEQ and CPEng accredited or actively working towards becoming a Chartered Professional engineer.

Training and Development

NDY has a strong focus on the development of our staff and training will be a key element of this development whether on internal or external training courses. We will develop a career plan for each staff member that will focus on core elements of your role to provide you with a clear progression in your career path.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of projects from healthcare facilities through to commercial office developments and retail developments, both as new build and refurbishments.
