Your New Role

To provide sound, commercially focused legal advice in relation to a variety of areas of commercial and corporate law including but not limited to commercial contracts, consumer, privacy, corporate, property, intellectual property, modern slavery and an array of general commercial matters, in addition to the provision of general legal advice to the business. The position has potential to see the candidate grow additional skills in the company secretarial and governance disciplines.

This role is based in our beautiful Support Office in Chullora and is parental leave cover contract offering 6 months of full-time work, (with potential to extend beyond this with part time work after the first 6 months).

About You

  • Law Degree from an Australian University,
  • Unrestricted Practicing Certificate (or the ability to obtain an unrestricted practicing certificate within 1 month of starting- this role will not provide supervised legal practice).
  • Minimum of 3 years Post Admission Experience in a private practice or in-house environment.
  • Strong skills with respect to provision of general commercial advice, contract, consumer, IP, privacy and corporate law.
  • You have a strong attention to detail, can provide clear and concise written and verbal advice in a fast-paced environment, and you have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Someone with the right experience who is also seeking a more balanced, flexible role.
