Are you an experienced hydrogeologist with expertise in groundwater modelling and the mining industry? Our client, a leading engineering consultancy based in sunny Sydney, is looking for a talented Senior Hydrogeologist to join their team. As part of this dynamic organization, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that make use of your skills while developing new ones.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology/Hydrology/Environmental Science
- 10+ years' experience as a practicing hydrogeologist
Skills:

Hydrological modeling:

As our ideal candidate, we expect that you can demonstrate practical knowledge and proficiency using models like MODFLOWFEFLOW/TUFLOW/WATERGEMS etc., software which are widely used within Australia's water resources sector.

Groundwater exploration &
development:

Experience working across all stages from feasibility studies through construction supervision including borehole drilling programs,
Mining Industry Experience
You should be able show demonstrable success supporting major mine planning activities by providing innovative solutions related to ground-water management issues at large-scale mine sites

Responsibilities :

-Conducting detailed technical analyses pertaining specifically but not limited to surface water and/or groundwater monitoring assessments;
-Managing multiple tasks/projects effectively whilst ensuring delivery results meet/exceed clients' expectations
-Leading mentoring junior members on project teams
