About the role

Retail Ready Operations Australia (RROA), is the Coles retail ready meat facility. Based at Erskine Park we have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met. Our facility is fully integrated into the Coles sourcing, production, and logistics and stores' network.

As the Health, Safety &
Environment Senior Business Partner you'll be a trusted expert supporting the HSE Manager to deliver on the Retail Manufacturing HSE Plans and key programs.
Assist continual improvement, and facilitation of the HSE Plans for Retail Manufacturing.
Implement health, safety and environment risk management programs. Support the Site Leadership Team to deliver the site strategy and HSE Plan.
You'll also:
- Facilitate and implement HSE Management System procedures, programs and processes at Retail Manufacturing sites.
- Provide support to the business to drive a culture of due diligence, coaching and empowering teams to increase their independence and confidence in effectively leading health and safety.
- Analyse trends, provide solutions and encourage safe behaviours, in order to minimise incidents and deliver HSE plans and compliance.
- Lead and/or participate in investigations into notifiable incidents through to closure, building continuous improvement into HSE performance and debrief lessons learned to Site Leadership Teams.

About you and your skills


- Knowledge of best practice in health, safety and environment and other relevant legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice.
- Experience working in self-insurance or ISO 45001 accredited safety management systems.
- Demonstration of ability to incorporate health, safety and wellbeing requirements whilst considering commercially viable and practical solutions.
- Tertiary degree with health and safety and/or allied health competencies, minimum Certificate IV in WHS.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building capabilities with both internal and external parties.
