ABOUT THE TEAM
Headed by the Global Chief Financial Officer, the Group Finance function is a small team consisting of Financial Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Global Financial Planning &
Analysis. The Group Finance team strives to be a finance function of the future. The team has been built by recruiting team members with varying qualifications and skills that extend well beyond traditional finance. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Group Accountant to join the Group Finance team. Reporting to the General Manager Finance, this role will be integral in ensuring that all financial reporting obligations of CTM are met. This role will also facilitate the consolidation of the monthly results and prepare the relevant reports for the C-Suite and Board including half-year and year-end reporting.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting and finance.
Bachelor of Business or Commerce or related field with (or studying towards) CA/CPA.
Experience with corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and tax.
Self-starter mindset with a desire for continuous improvement.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and ASX reporting.
Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines and reporting timetables.
Strong interpersonal/communication skills, written and verb
