The Role

As the Senior Finance Business Partner (Labour), you'll collaborate closely with the business to provide precise, timely, and transparent reporting on labour costs and related overheads. This role is essential for empowering key stakeholders with the insights they need to achieve strategic goals.

You'll work hand-in-hand with the Commercial team and Operational budget owners, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of labour costs and overheads from a forward-looking forecast perspective.

More about the role:

• Ensure accurate monthly accounting for labour and burden costs.
• Deliver timely and precise management reporting on labour costs and key financial performance metrics.
• Provide strategic insights, analysis, and interpretation of financial data to help managers drive their business and achieve cost reduction.
• Prepare labour spend budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Develop and present reports and presentations to key internal stakeholders and APLNG partners to align business strategy and drivers.
• Proactively contribute to the development and improvement of reporting, analysis, and processes.

About you

We're looking for an experienced Management Accounting professional who excels in analysing large amounts of data, extracting key insights, and communicating them effectively. Your ability to partner with business leaders and drive budgeting and forecasting processes will be crucial.

More about you:

• A Tertiary qualification (accounting, commerce, or engineering), as well as CA/CPA
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with IBMPA or other Business Intelligence tools
• Experience with SAP S4 Hanna
