Senior Estimator - Insurance Building

Join a successful, well-established Insurance Building company that performs repair building work on homes on behalf of many of Australia's largest insurance companies. The group has a proud history that spans over 35 years, and it now offers an opportunity for an experienced Insurance Building Estimator to join the team, working on the road in metro Melbourne.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager you will visit large loss and major loss sites and ascertain the cause of damage and scope of work. You will write detailed assessment reports, provide accurate costing information, and liaise with supervisors and trades regularly to ensure the smooth-running of all jobs. You will communicate with insurance companies and insured parties and manage your time effectively to ensure the timely completion of documents.

The successful candidate will be experienced working in an Estimator's role in the insurance industry. You will be an excellent communicator, have great attention to detail and proven experience in delivering jobs on time and to excellent quality. You will be computer literate and have a current and valid vehicle licence. You are now looking to join a stable business for a long-term opportunity.
