We have an opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. This role suits a specialist in the flooding, stormwater management, modelling or Water Sensitive Urban Design areas to support our Floodplains team across Australia. The role requires:

  • Delivering high quality expert advice on projects in SA and other regions
  • Delivering technical input to hydrological and hydraulic modelling projects
  • Involvement in preparing proposals
  • Project management
  • Active mentoring and act as a go to person for junior staff members

To set you up for success, we would like to see demonstrated proficiencies in the following skills:

  • Commercial acumen and understanding of how consultancies operate (ideally, you've worked in a consultancy or very closely with one)
  • Relationship management and stakeholder engagement
  • Advanced technical skills in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling (MIKE &
    TUFLOW is preferred, RAFTS and URBS will also be highly regarded)
  • Project management
  • Mentoring and training (you don't have to demonstrate this in a formal capacity, but we would like to see that you have at some point, worked with junior staff members to develop their capabilities on the job)
