Our teams use data and analytics to identify customers' needs and safely provide insights, contact journeys and innovative solutions to deliver world-class experiences. We're part of the Chief Data and Analytics Office and our team provides a data provisioning service to our Financial Crime Reporting division.
You'll be performing data preparation activities by cleansing and preparing data for consumption, analyse complex data using various data analysis techniques across various sources against business requirements. Elicit requirements from key stakeholders, including senior management, using a variety of methods, including facilitation of workshops, to capture business requirements.
We support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half your time each month connecting in office. We also have many other flexible working options available including changing start and finish times, part-time arrangements and job share to name a few.
We're interested in hearing from people who

• Are highly experienced with data sources, data extraction, data cleansing and ingestion within a large complex organisation
• Understand how to create new data flows in Omnia
• Are passionate about ensuring attributes of data, relationships between data elements and sources of data are defined and mapped
• Lead with confidence when partnering with business stakeholders, gathering requirements and providing input into solution design and data modelling decisions
• Have extensive hands on experience and expertise in data design, flows, data layers and data semantics
• Analyse data profile, Data lineage and data patterns
• Are good at identifying data risks and mitigating the same
• Knowledge of Financial Crime Reporting (preferred)
• Exposure to cloud based data warehousing (preferred)

Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

• Advanced SQL and Excel
• Knowledgeable around messaging platform like Kafka
• Sequel, Omnia
