About the role
CyberCX is Australia's leading independent cyber security services organisation. We are building Australia's greatest cyber security consulting team. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for exceptional people who are customer obsessed, to join our Governance, Risk &
Compliance (GRC) practice at the Senior Consultant level.
We are looking for driven professionals who can use their emerging or deep cyber security knowledge and expertise to deliver meaningful outcomes to our clients and help secure our communities.
This is a unique opportunity to grow Australia's preeminent cyber security business.
Duties

  • Leading complex information security projects including ISMS implementations and audits, cyber risk assessments, organisational information security posture reviews, reviewing incident response plans, and developing cyber security frameworks and solutions.
  • Prepare and present tailored high-quality reports detailing security issues, making recommendations, and identifying solutions.
  • Working with our clients to identify and develop cyber security improvements.
  • Leading and mentoring consultants during engagements and in support of others' professional development. We have a culture of building our team's experience by contributing to the development of team members, with a senior consultant expected to contribute to this development.

Skills &
experience

  • 3+ years' experience in cyber security, ideally with experience working for a global consulting firm, technology giant or large government agency.
  • Broad knowledge across a range of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge across multiple technical domains
  • Experience with the ISM and PSPF
  • Experience implementing and/or auditing an ISO 27001 ISMS
  • A high performing and proficient consultant with a deep theoretical understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance domain that allows them to perform complex projects independently.
