The role and responsibilities
The Business Lending team is seeking an energetic, collaborative and results driven Senior Consultant to lead product and process performance across Business Lending Product suite.

• Be the process improvement SME for Business Lending product.
• Drive banker and customer experience excellence, through process improvement, digitisation and the delivery of change initiatives that support the B&
  PB strategy, optimise financial returns, and ensure market leading customer propositions.
• Work within the product teams across a range of business initiatives to develop and enhance the Business Lending product portfolio.
• Develop &
  implement process insights, project proposals and business cases.
• Track initiatives to business case and business objectives post implementation and work with other project owners to initiate action as required.
• Identify and drive product initiatives which improve processes, risk, and reduce cost.
• Develop and implement effective change within banker sales tools and processes that support business lending products.

Day to day will be a mix of enabling activities including :

• Lean Six Sigma and process champion for the wider Business Lending Product team
• Business Lending Product process ownership including improvement, change management and maintenance of process artefacts.
• Product owner for risk and regulatory changes impacting Business Lending Product
• Implement and deliver a standardised approach to the launch and embedding of core Business Lending product changes in line with NAB change principles.
• Drive process and policy simplification and strengthening customer and colleague experience via:
  

• • Analysis of Net Promoter Score, Voice of Customer, Complaints and Events data and address root cause
  • Re-engineering of process and policy that drive fulfilment and operations high volume work, risks, and rework.
  • Process and channel improvement and simplification - get it right first time and reduce cost to serve.

• Drive adoption of workflow tools for Business Lending process that will achieve Time to Yes and improved Banker experience for lending.
• Develop and deliver business presentations for senior business stakeholders across the 1st and 2nd line - including presenting facts, insights and recommendations suitable for audience.

What you'll bring:

• Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent operations management) qualification and experience.
• Industry experience in banking and financial services, with exposure or experience within process improvement, change, product / project management or strategy.
• Knowledge of business lending processes and systems
• Experience in project / change management and go to market execution experience, ideally in managing the implementation of a product and process change initiatives.
• Proven ability to define, develop, deliver &
  review business improvement and change plans.
• Analytical &
  problem-solving skills including the ability to collect, synthesise and analyse complex data and situations to identify insights and opportunities;
  coupled with taking a strategic and risk view to develop sustainable decisions.
• Proven ability to think laterally and develop commercial business cases and delivery initiatives.
• Demonstrated capabilities in stakeholder management and being able to communicate with influence.
