The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of the strategic direction of analytics and reporting across our Sales (SAP) and Activity (Veeva) platforms. You will be responsible for driving and challenging our Sales and Marketing teams with actionable insights that will propel our business forward.

As the key business partner, you will be able to facilitate deep dive reviews and ad hoc projects into key business issues, providing analysis and recommendations on how to solve these challenges. You will define business priorities, possibilities, and problems using data to provide valuable insights into the current and future state of the Business Unit.

But that's not all! This role will also involve optimizing our Veeva system, finding efficiencies in data input and reporting processes. You will have the chance to work with our global teams and manage offshore data administration teams, ensuring smooth operations and data integrity.

You will be at the forefront of planning, evaluating, and managing all business and technical issues for Allergan's ANZ CRM systems. Collaborating with the Data analyst, you will support the ANZ field force team, providing maintenance, configuration, and reporting. You will interact with various departments such as sales, marketing, IS, and customer service to gather requirements, pilot new initiatives, implement changes, and review ongoing performance.

Your ability to interact with various levels of management will be crucial as you present analysis on activity, territory structure, CRM metrics, and use the insights gained to present recommendations for optimizing the field force and improving overall performance.

Things you will be doing;

  • Leading business partnering with Sales and Marketing teams, driving actionable insights using Sales and Activity data
  • Challenging the business and providing recommendations to key business issues;
    address specific business issues involving CRM and sales operations
  • Oversight of the CRM applications, working with the CRM Administrator to ensure for maintenance in the functional areas of data management (including integrations). Maintain user roles, data security, profiles, workflow rules, validation rules, page layouts etc
  • Work directly with the business units to document business requirements and build solution design documents that address enhancement requests to the application
  • Identify CRM usage problems and craft technical / communication plans to remedy
  • Analyse and develop appropriate territory structures, based on the needs of the business units, working with Business Unit Analyst
  • Providing analytical support to the Business Unit utilizing various internal data sources and external data sources, developing dashboards or reports as required
  • Identify new and emerging trends in data management, AI, and Machine learning and how these capabilities can be applied to the business.
  • Master database management support for sales dashboard solutions and performance tracking.
  • Business unit review presentations that are informative, concise, commercially focused, and relevant to the key business issue being addressed
  • Performing analysis to determine the effectiveness of advertising programs, pricing adjustments and competitor efforts
  • Performing analysis to evaluate the compliance level to corporate agreements and contracts
  • Incorporating machine learning and robotic process automation
  • Designing motivating Sales Incentive Plan's (SIP), including calculations of targets and SIP payments for the Facial Aesthetics Business Unit on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Gathering and analysing relevant competitor data (where applicable), both company and product related
  • Effectively prioritising tasks and projects to deliver quality solutions to the highest priority business issue
  • Ensuring all business activities comply with relevant legal requirements and ethical standards
  • Involvement in key projects and initiatives as required
  • Overall ownership of key components for commercial analytics as required by the Business Excellence Lead


Qualifications

Experience that will help you get started;

  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-resolution skill
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into specifications and convert data and information into intelligence
  • Solid understanding of financial reports/budgets / sales forecasts/customer buying trends/pricing and promotion
  • High level of attention to detail and numeracy accuracy
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
  • Experience developing and working with self-service analytic software such as Power BI and Tableau
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous, particularly Business Objects/Explorer (administration, report writing, universe build and maintenance)
  • Strong communication, listening and presentation skills.
