Job Description
How will I help?
Treasury Technology supports and delivers solutions for these key functions in Group Treasury - Funds Transfer Pricing, Regulatory Liquidity Risk reporting, Regulatory Interest Rate Risk reporting, Hedge Accounting, Intra-day Liquidity Management, Portfolio risk management, Securitisation and Analytics
Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) is a tool used for 3 core-to-bank Treasury functions:

• Asset Liability &
  Banking Book Market Risk Measurement, management &
  reporting of Interest Rate, Credit and Single Currency Basis Risk in the Banking Book for internal risk management &
  APRA's APS 117
• Net Income Interest (NII) sensitivity modelling
• Liquidity Risk Management
  • Measurement of the daily Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)
  • Management of contingency funding plans &
    forecasts using stress models
  • Population of the APS 210 returns
  • Forecasting the Group's wholesale funding costs
• Profitability and Funds Transfer Pricing
  • Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), to calculate the internal funding and risk management charge between the group Business Units and Treasury

Major Accountabilities in this role:

• This role will focus on FTP Transformation strategic solution till end of Nov'24 followed by other initiative in FY25.
• Engage relevant Business and Technical SME to determine appropriate data model and processing uplift to achieve project objective and translate this into detailed business requirements.
• Perform gap analysis of current v's target state (within Treasury Data Management framework) by leveraging knowledge about Balance sheet management concepts and data analysis using SQL, Excel, or any other tools.
• Identify solution options and conduct an end-to-end impact assessment for preferred solution option.
• Translate the chosen solution into functional specifications to meet those business requirements.
• Contribute into all the stages of Agile delivery - Backlog refinement, Feature delivery planning, story creation and analysis, documenting functional specifications and liaise with the developer and tester for accurate change delivery.
• Work with Business SME and Business Quality Assurance team to document "
  Acceptance Criteria"
  and support BQA team during testing to ensure that planned changed meets the requirements.
• Ongoing engagement with the business &
  technical teams to enhance quality and value of the data and solutions.
• Data and systems analysis - sourcing of new data, analysing the data quality of existing sources and cleansing of data from various product systems.
• Solving data integrity issues, maintaining metadata, and contributing towards data simplification and consolidation initiatives.
• Analysing the quality of existing controls and technical design of new / improved data controls
• Analysing the quality of existing business rules and technical design of new / improved business rules.
• Compiling and / or contributing to the relevant documentation throughout the course of an initiative such as Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Specifications, Business User Guide, Business Go Live plan, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

What do I need?
Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of banking and financial systems
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced technical knowledge of SQL, Excel with VBA, and experience in other Microsoft Office applications.
• Oracle GL Segment and Balance Sheet management

Experience:

• System process analysis and design in end-to-end IRRBB / Liquidity Risk / equivalent implementations
• Banking experience (esp. Finance or Treasury) is ideal.
• Min 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working according to Agile / Scrum principles preferred.

Education:
Information Technology / Computer Science / Maths / Statistics / Quantitative / Business / Finance or equivalent business experience.
