T he Opportunity

The Senior Business Analyst at Vocus is a key role responsible for driving business outcomes through analysis, strategic thinking, and collaboration with various teams. As Senior BA you'll be responsible for working with solution design, business, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements. The role includes analyzing current and future states to understand impacts on systems, processes, and people, and contributing to change management.

The Senior BA must develop an understanding of Vocus Products, Processes, and Systems and help build BA function knowledge. They will build relationships with stakeholders across technology and business teams within Vocus.

For each mission, the Senior BA leads the initiative breakdown into BA deliverables, participates in reporting and governance forums, and acts as the first escalation point for BA deliverables. They are tasked with developing and implementing the BA approach for mission initiatives and supporting other BAs.

What you'll be doing day-to-day

• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business discovery outputs and support decision-making based on business benefits and criteria.
• Independently develop the BA approach, tools, and deliverables, and elicit detailed business requirements with stakeholders.
• Break down initiatives into valuable customer-focused components and define stakeholder engagement for BA work.
• Develop user stories, perform gap analysis, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Analyze change impacts, support technical requirements development, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Utilize BA frameworks and tools for deliverables and documentation, and extract insights from data to support decisions.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing, enable operational handovers, and create necessary documentation and training content.
• Track BA activities, act as an SME, and mentor junior BAs, ensuring consistent quality outcomes.

What you'll bring to this role

• 8+ years of experienceas a Business Analyst/Senior BA with a proven track record in large/complex projects.
• Experience working on largescale sales transformation projects, CRM and ERP experience, with a strong focus on technology.
• Experience in the telecommunications sector, with familiarity in telecom value chain processes like Sales, Delivery, Assurance, and Billing.
• Skilled in creating visual representations for diverse audiences and proficient with tools likeLucidorVisio, and techniques such asBPMN.
• Experience withSalesforceorServiceNowis advantageous
• Demonstrated expertise in understanding and providing solutions for both business and technical requirements.
• Capable of independently executing role responsibilities and taking proactive measures.
• Competent in facilitating large workshops with various Business and IT stakeholders.
• Confident in communicating and negotiating with stakeholders at different levels to drive positive outcomes.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills, with the ability to track and follow up on information effectively.
• Proven capability to manage and prioritize conflicting demands.
• Agile mindset with the flexibility to learn and adapt and experience with Agile BA tools and techniques.
• Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is beneficial.
• A proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team, fostering collaboration and transparency.
