About the role

This Senior Business Analyst role sits within our Data Platform and Applications Department and plays an integral role within our Data Ecosystem, focussing on enabling the delivery of data driven outcomes and products. This team has a direct impact on the decisions we make as a business and the way we engage our customers.

You will be responsible for eliciting and analysing requirements to deliver quality solutions to the business, including early life initiatives:
analysis to determine feasibility. You will act as a liaison with business, translating their needs into a variety of requirements including process, data and integration specifications. In addition, you be responsible for upskilling Business Analyst's within the Data Practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of early life initiatives to translate ideas into an understanding of feasibility, complexity and scope. This will include managing stakeholders, communications, and outcomes.
• Perform detailed technical/domain analysis to help drive the correct solution.
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders working closely to ensure ongoing delivery aligns with business goals and achieves maturity of the business data capability.
• Liaise with data consumers to perform testing and gather data governance sign off.
• Identify areas for improvement or simplification in the way BAs interact with other stakeholders, including design and uplift processes, artefacts and governance to improve ways of working.

About You

• Solid experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of agile principles &
  techniques.
• Ability to facilitate various meetings and workshops with wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, including influencing and negotiation up to executive level.
• Strong technical knowledge in data and analytics to assist in driving the right requirements and understanding the landscape.
• Able to lead and coach others when not directly managing them.
