Job Description

What's involved:

This exciting opportunity exists on a 12-month parental leave cover contract where you will contribute to the equity, growth and profitability of the Brown Brothers and Tasmanian global portfolios. High energy, innate consumer and category curiosity and a desire to deliver continuous improvement in everything we do will be at the heart of what you bring to this position.

Every day will be different, but some of your main responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the equity, growth and profitability of the Brown Brothers and Tasmanian portfolios through the creation and implementation of category initiatives and brand plans (Integrated Business Plans).
  • Have global product portfolio responsibility and management.
  • Lead and coach the Brand Managers across both portfolios to ensure they are motivated, responsive to company requirements and are learning and developing.
  • Lead the direction and implementation of omni channel communications and media campaigns within portfolio of responsibility.
  • Manage new product and packaging development within portfolio of responsibility for the domestic market and ensure its fit for purpose for key export markets.
  • Manage marketing investment for portfolio of responsibility maximising ROI and are in line with budget parameters.
  • Participate proactively and professionally as a member of the Marketing teamand broader business.
  • Always comply with corporate requirements and present a positive and professional image to customers and the external environment.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related field.
  • Significant experience in a marketing related position.
  • Campaign and master brand development.
  • Strong analytic capability, financial acumen and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, interpersonal, negotiation.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management influencing skills.
  • Flexible and motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven track record in the wine or FMCG industry.
  • Proven success with developing and managing a high performing team.
