Senior Associate / Special Counsel (Insurance) - Partnership Path

Alra | australia's leading recruitment agency - Perth
new offer (01/07/2024)

job description

The Partner heading up this practice has been consistently acknowledged as one of Western Australia's Leading Public &
product liability lawyers, but he is also a nice and down to earth person.

There is a mix of workers compensation and public liability work coming through the practice and you can structure the role depending on your preferences and experience:
some of the Lawyers here specialise in just workers comp, others in liability, and others do a mix of everything.

The team has increased significantly over the past 2 years, and this is a growth role to support further progression as the firm is now on every major insurer panel in WA.

There is a team of 10 Associates and junior SAs here to help support you on your more complex and higher quantum matters, providing opportunity for you to develop your mentoring skills.

You'll on complex matters defending corporates in workplace health and safety prosecutions and serious workplace incidents, as well as advising the management of sensitive claims such as severe psychiatric injuries.

The practice is currently overseen by a single partner, making it an ideal time for a motivated lawyer to step in, and advance their career taking on more responsibility and move towards partnership. There is no need to bring any clients as you can take over existing relationships.

As a Specialist Recruiter with over 12 years of experience, I can guarantee that your application is in good hands. The market is small, and confidentiality is key. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have about this position or to discuss other options currently available in the market.
