As a Senior Associate - Society, Governance &
Engagement
, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with clients to provide insights and guidance on how to establish and maintain their social licence to operate;
avoid, mitigate, and manage social risks and impacts;
enhance community benefits;
and strengthen relationships with communities. You will work on a diverse range of projects across the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.

What you'll do

We are looking for a Senior Associate - Society, Governance &
Engagement
to join our Brisbane team.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Manage, deliver and drive scopes of work from initial phase to completion.
  • Prepare proposals and tenders, design project methodologies, and be actively involved in business development.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver tailored social impact assessments, social impact management plans and social investment strategies for a range of projects across different sectorsthat are located throughout Australia.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to facilitate technical and commercial success of projects and team objectives.
  • Design and deliver community and stakeholder engagement plans and facilitate engagement activities- such as interviews, focus groups, workshops and surveys to support project approvals, social research and social impact assessment development.

What you'll have

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Experienced within a similar role (preferably in consulting) or in delivering rigorous social impact assessments.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and proven experience in preparing and delivering social impact assessments and stakeholder engagement plans for large projects.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and capabilities in client engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, proposals and reporting with attention to detail.
  • Existing client networks or interest and drive to build client relationships.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated and team player attitude.
  • Experience in energy projects and an understanding of approvals process.
