This practice group advises high profile corporate developer and council clients and you will be an integral part of the team. In addition to Land and Environment Court litigation matters, you will also be involved in major, long term, development projects, and will learn to sharpen your front end planning law skills in relation to the rezoning of land, the negotiation of VPAs, and the resolution of complex and novel environmental and planning issues for greenfield and infill development projects.
This is an opportunity for a 5 to 8 year PQE lawyer to join a prominent Planning, Environment and Government practice that continues to expand their footprint in the Sydney market place.
About You
Your sophisticated communication style and professionalism, combined with an ambitious, resourceful nature will see you thrive as a member of our Dentons team.
You will have:
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE in NSW planning and environment law
- Excellent legal advice skills
- Solid client and matter management skills
- A high degree of technical ability
- A strong grasp of general commercial legal principles
- Great communication skills - both written and verbal
- Superior time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Strong team orientation and a collaborative approach
