Senior Associate Director (Civil)

My client is a leading engineering and consulting firm dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across a wide range of civil engineering projects. Our team of experts is committed to excellence, integrity, and client satisfaction. We work on diverse projects including urban infrastructure, and large-scale commercial developments.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of Civil Engineering to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing project delivery, driving business development, and providing strategic direction to our civil engineering division. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, managerial acumen, and strong client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the civil engineering division.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of a wide range of civil engineering projects.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high standards of performance and professional development.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact.
- Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding the client base.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
Master's degree preferred.
- CPEng in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in leading &
managing in a consultancy environment.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
- Familiarity with advanced project management software.
- Strong network within the civil engineering industry.
